Broadleaf Aiea Access Bomber Wreckage Unlike Hawaii Five-0's Ne'e Aku

Summary: Hawaiian broadleaf aiea as trail loop allow access to bomber wreckage nobler than drug plane wreckage on Hawaii Five-0's Ne'e Aku, Ne'e Mai Nov. 15, 2019.

The natural range for the Hawaiian broadleaf aiea tree (Nothocestrum latifolium) occurs on Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi and Maui; a flowering aiea at Auwahi Dryland Forest Restoration Project, southwestern slopes Haleakala, East Maui; Saturday, April 29, 2006, 10:55: Forest & Kim Starr, CC BY 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons

Hawaiian broadleaf aiea as trail loop announces approaches to bomber wreckage more awesome than Hawaii Five-0 police procedural television series episode Ne'e Aku, Ne'e Mai Ke One O Punahoa Nov. 15, 2019.
Director Carlos Bernard and writers Chi McBride and Matt Wheeler build the tenth season's eighth episode around a crashed plane with $100 million in heroin aboard. The series' 226th episode overall contains in its title English correlations, That way and this way shifts the sand of Punahoa, of an 'ōlelo ao ("proverb"). It deals with a downed drug plane whose death toll and destructive descent do not derive from actual crashes such as the B-24J Liberator Bomber wreckage.
The transpacific flight from Hickam Field May 5, 1944, at 5:22 a.m. (8:52 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time) ended 6 miles (9.66 kilometers) later.

The Puu Uau (from Hawaiian pu'u, "hill" and u'au, "dark-rumped petrel") Ridge forced the fighter aircraft downward from its flight trajectory to Australia's 5th Air Force.
Search crews gathered the 10-man crew's corpses from the fire-gutted bomber wreckage that in 1993 guarded four engines, wheeled left and right wings and tail turrets. A memorial plaque since 2008 highlights Oahu's (from Hawaiian o-ā'hu, "gathering place") 384-acre (155.39-hectare) Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area (from Hawaiian ke-ā'-iwā, "brave" and heiau, "temple"). It is installed, 3.2 miles (6.44 kilometers) from the bomber wreckage, at the trailhead of the 4.8-mile (9.66-kilometer), three-hour Aiea Loop Trail (from Hawaiian ā'i-ea, "shrub").
Twenty-first-century landslides jammed the bomber wreckage further into the Puu Uau Ridge gulch and jeopardize viewing unless hikers journey from Aiea Loop Trail into the gulch.

Eight to 16 weeks in cinder-like or organic-rich, moist, shaded, well-drained soils kindle Hawaiian broadleaf aiea seed germination into slow-growing seedlings and likewise slow-growing small trees.
Hawaiian broadleaf aiea, labeled scientifically by Asa Gray (Nov. 18, 1810-Jan. 30, 1888), lodge seeds within orange-yellow fruits with diameters less than 0.25 inch (0.64 centimeter). They maintain edible, pea-size, round, small berries as well as clustered, fragrant, green-yellow, lemon-scented flowers and clustered, deciduous, oval, thick leaves on gnarled, short-spurred branch ends. Their 0.5- to 0.75-inch- (1.27- to 1.91-centimeter-) long, 0.25- to 0.38-inch (0.64- to 0.96-centimeter) diameter flowers net green-yellow corollas (from Latin corōlla, "wreathlet") with wavy-edged petals.
Hawaiian broadleaf aiea, organized scientifically as Nothocestrum latifolium (from Greek νόθος, "false" and Latin cestrum, "grave" and lātifolium, "broad-leaved"), offer fuzzy younger and smooth older foliage.

Hawaiian broadleaf aiea trees possess 1.5- to 8-inch- (3.81- to 20.32-centimeter-) long, 1.25- to 2.75-inch- (3.18- to 6.98-centimeter-) wide, pale-veined foliage on rigid, upright branched ends.
Fifteen- to 50-foot- (4.57- to 15.24-meter-) tall Hawaiian broadleaf aiea trees at 1,509.19- to 5,019.68-foot (460- to 1,530-meter) altitudes quit yellow-haired younger for gnarled older trunks. The Solanaceae (from Latin sōlānum, "nightshade" and -āceae, "resembling") family member requires deep-soiled plateaus; 50-plus-inch (1,270-plus-millimeter) annual rainfall; forests; gulches; hills; old lava flows; and ridges. Browsing, grazing deer, goats and sheep; invasive self-heal; and livestock farming and ranching secure Hawaiian broadleaf aiea the International Union for Conservation of Nature's endangered status.
Hawaiian broadleaf aiea trail turns versus technology and training respectively take hikers and Five-0ers to bomber wreckage of fallen servicemen and plane wreckage of fallen suppliers.
