Pikake Jasmine Answers Where Abductees Are on NCIS: Hawai’i Deep Fake

Summary: Pikake jasmine answers where abductees are on NCIS: Hawai’i police procedure television series episode, Deep Fake, 10th in Season 2 and 32nd overall.

The multi-stranded, rope-like lei wreaths accommodate 1,000, 1,000-plus pikake jasmine flowers even as single-strand lei wreaths accumulate perhaps 25 larger, summer buds or 100 smaller, winter buds; April 2007: Sanba38, CC BY SA 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons

Pikake jasmine answers where abductees Sam Hanna, Jimmy Palmer and Jane Tennant are on NCIS: Hawai’i police procedure television series episode, Deep Fake, 10th episode in Season 2 and 32nd episode overall.
Fragrance belonging to pikake jasmine bares for Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) where their abductors brought them. Hawaiian backyard gardeners, backyard and commercial landscapers and commercial cultivators count among their ornamental crops 12 species within the genus Jasminum (jasmine, from Persian یاسمین, “yāsmīn”). The Oleaceae (from Latin olīva, “olive-green” and -āceus, “resembling”) olive family member deserves the designation pikake (from Hawaiian pī.kake, “peacock”) due to delighting Crown Princess Kaiulani.
Kaiulani (Ka’iulani, from Hawaiian ka, “the”; ‘iu, “sacred”; lani, “sky”) enthused over peacock birds (Pavo cristatus) and peacock flowers even as both evidenced Indian subcontinental extractions.

Kaiulani (Ka’iulani, from Hawaiian ka, “the”; ‘iu, “sacred”; lani, “sky”), the Crown Princess (Oct. 16, 1875-March 6, 1899), added a feather or a flower lei to her wardrobe from an early age. She admired peacock birds (Pavo cristatus) and peacock flowers (Jasminum sambac, from Arabic زَنْبَق, Persian زنبق, Sanskrit चम्पक, “iris, lily”), whose appellations she thereby admitted into the Hawaiian language as pikake; ca. 1885-ca. 1886 photograph of Crown Princess Kaiulani, Hawai'i State Archives Call No. P-96-9-011: Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

Pikake jasmine furnished Kaiulani (Oct. 16, 1875-March 6, 1899) four varieties, single and semi-double flowers March through September and rose and multi-whorled flowers April through August.
The single-flowered variety, grown commercially for lei-making, guards white petals, acutely pointed or broad-based, narrow-tipped, ovately egg-like, on 0.75- to 1.25-inch (1.91- to 3.18-centimeter) diameter flowers. The semi-double variety houses elongated, white petals to 0.75- to 1.25-inch (1.91- to 3.18-centimeter) diameter flowers, whose huge haul hinders flower buds holding their flower-bud stems. The rose variety, less flowery flowering than semi-double and single varieties, is double-flowered, round- and white-petaled, on 0.75- to 1.25-inch (1.91- to 3.18-centimeter) diameter open flowers.
Small-sized petals join into a less flowery flowering multi-whorled variety of pikake jasmine with carnation-like, small- and white-flowered, 0.75- to 1.38-inch (1.91- to 3.51-inch) diameter flowers.

Kaiulani (Ka’iulani, from Hawaiian ka, “the”; ‘iu, “sacred”; lani, “sky”) adopted the American holoku (from Hawaiian holo.kū, "evenly plump, stout, symmetrical" literally; culturally and historically, Mother Hubbard loose-clothed style of traditional dress accompanying Protestant missionaries assigned to the Hawaiian archipelago in 1820) dress and the Hawaiian lei necklace. She affiliated spiritually with ancient Hawaiian culture and with the Anglican Church, whose Bishop and Clergy at Kawaiahao (from Hawaiian ka, "the"; wai, "water"; Ha'o, "[High Chieftess] Hao") in present-day Honolulu City and County, Oahu County, Hawaii state, arranged her Anglican funeral and burial services; 1898 albumen print portrait of Princess Kaiulani at her royal estate, ʻĀinahau, Waikīkī, O'ahu south shore, by British photographer Frank Davey (Feb. 27, 1860-April 25, 1922), president, Davey Photo Co.: Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

Cutting versus layering and seeding kindles commercial- versus backyard-cultivated Hawaiian pikake jasmine, known scientifically as Jasminum sambac (from Arabic زَنْبَق, Persian زنبق, Sanskrit चम्पक, “iris, lily”).
The Lamiales (from Latin lamium, “deadnettle” and -ālis, “regarding”) mint order member logs 2- to 3-week rooting times from 1- to 2-year-old, 6-inch- (15.24-centimeter-) long cuttings. Sunny, well-drained soils matter to the climbing shrub, the shrubby climber mentioned by Carl Linnaeus (May 23, 1707-Jan. 10, 1778) and William Aiton (1731-Feb. 2, 1793). Pikake jasmine needs 1.5-foot (0.46-meter) intra-row-, 5- to 6-foot (1.52- to 1.83-meter) inter-row-spaced silty clayey loam or sandy soils between soil pH ranges 6.0 and 6.5.
Eighty to 90 (27 to 32 degrees Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit days, 70 to 80 (21 to 27 degrees Celsius) degrees Fahrenheit nights optimally orient pikake jasmine.

Kaiulani (Ka’iulani, from Hawaiian ka, “the”; ‘iu, “sacred”; lani, “sky”) appeared in such appreciated apparel as her American holoku (from Hawaiian holo.kū, "evenly plump, stout, symmetrical" literally; culturally and historically, Mother Hubbard loose-clothed style of traditional dress accompanying Protestant missionaries assigned to the Hawaiian archipelago in 1820) dress and her Hawaiian lei of Indian subcontinent-arising pikake jasmine (Jasminum sambac) and with such appreciated animals as her pet peacocks (Pavo cristatus) from the Indian subcontinent; Princess Victoria Kaiulani feeds pigeons at her royal estate, ʻĀinahau, Waikīkī, O'ahu south shore, in 1897 photograph by British photographer Frank Davey (Feb. 27, 1860-April 25, 1922), Hawai'i State Archives Call No. PP-96-8-007: Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

Pikake jasmine prefers 1-inch- (2.54-centimeter-) deep weekly irrigation or precipitation and, November through January, lateral branch-friendly, terminal-end flowering-friendly pruning, 2-foot- (0.61-meter-) high rejuvenation and root-sucker removal.
Highland, waterlogged, windward pikake quarter hawk-moth caterpillar, mealybug, midge, mite, scale, spider mite, thrip and whitefly pests and blight, chlorosis, nematode, powdery mildew and root-rot diseases. Leeward-, lowland-, sunlight-reinforced, well-drained, white-budded Hawaiian pikake jasmine require morning harvests between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. during warm months and mid-day harvests during kona, winter weather. Pikake jasmine buds, strung soon after harvest, suggest single, 36- to 38-inch- (91.44- to 96.52-centimeter-) long strands, each with 85 summer buds or 125 winter buds.
Plastic bags treated to temperatures between 40 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 and 7.2 degrees Celsius) transmit pikake jasmine fragrances the time between NCIS: Hawai’i episodes.
