Welcome to Paradise, Now Die! Applies to Magnum PI, Not Paradise Park

Summary: Welcome to Paradise, Now Die! as season 5 episode 5 applies to action drama television series Magnum PI, not to Paradise Park on southeast Oahu.

Welcome to Paradise, Now Die! as season 5 episode 5 Sunday, March 12, 2023, applies to action drama television series Magnum PI, not to film- and tourism-attractive Paradise Park on southeast Oahu.
The 81st episode overall, directed by Marcus Stokes and written by Barbie Kligman, balances as missing a dog, a mouse and a tourist March 12, 2023. Paradise Park in Manoa Valley (from Hawaiian Mānoa, “deep, solid, thick, vast”) can be characterized as careening and challenged without its birds, fossils, gardens and maze. Elvis Presley (Jan. 8, 1935-Aug. 16, 1977) developed the devoted description of the Hawaiian islands as Paradise Hawaiian Style even as west Honolulu domiciles Paradise Park.
Paradise Park embellishes Manoa (from Hawaiian mānoa, “deep, solid, thick, vast”) Valley 3 miles (5 kilometers) eastward from downtown Honolulu (from Hawaiian hono lulu, “bay shelter”).

The Harold L. Lyon Arboretum acknowledges Dr. Harold Lloyd Lyon (Oct. 14, 1879-May 15, 1957), Minnesota-born and educated plant pathologist; Plant Pathology, Botany and Forestry department head; and Experiment Station director for the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association. It adjoins City and County of Honolulu Board of Water Supply and Paradise Park on Manoa Road. Its seismograph station affects abandoned airs similarizing Paradise Park; Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, 13:25, image of abandoned seismograph station, Lyon Arboretum: Daniel Ramirez from Honolulu, USA, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons

The Oahu (from Hawaiian o’ahu, “gathering place”) island facility figures perhaps 1 mile (1,600 meters) from Ala Moana (from Hawaiian ala moana, “path [to the] sea”).
Paradise Park guards perhaps a 1-mile (1,600-meter) distance from Waikiki (from Hawaiian wai kīkī, “water to spray”), the latter alongside Ala Moana abodes, beaches and businesses. And yet the 76-acre (0.12-square-mile, 0.31-square-kilometer) habitation for bantams; blue-and-gold, green-winged, military and scarlet macaws; ducks; and parrots had its heyday from 1967 through January 1994. The Manoa Road property included aviaries at the central building and along central paths for its exotic birds; botanical gardens; a dinosaur exhibit; and a maze.
Perhaps its chickens, ducks, macaws and parrots journeyed judiciously, not unjudiciously like Welcome to Paradise, Now Die! on Magnum PI, into the rainforest jostling Paradise Park.

Aihualama Falls (from Hawaiian 'Ai'hua'lama, "to eat fruit ebony [Diospyros sandwicensis]") affirms a biogeography similarizing the adjoining Paradise Park on Manoa Road. Drought afflicts Aihualama and Mānoa Falls especially during summer months from May through October and in the winter month of December. And yet Lyon Arboretum and Paradise Park naturally afforest. They thereby agree with the ancient Hawaiian alert Hahai nō ka ua i ka ululāʻau ("The rain follows the forest"); Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, 13:10, image of barely visibly trickling Aihualama Falls, Lyon Arboretum: Daniel Ramirez from Honolulu, USA, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons

The concrete, three-story-high entrance building, with its building-edged walkways, kept the Hālau Kū Māna Public Charter School, with its Hawaiian immersion curriculum, from 2004 through 2007.
Decade-long inactivity launched the rainforest lodging bamboo (Bambusoideae), banyan (Ficus subgenus Urostigma), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus) and hau (Hibiscus tiliaceus) trees; ferns (Polypodiopsida); and ginger (Zingiber officinale) plants. Ninety-one-year-old owner James Wong mentioned in 2014 making Paradise Park into a cultural center with a museum that respectively manifests and memorializes modern and ancient Hawaii. He noted that Paradise Park needed numerous botanical gardens nestling along central paths and around the cultural center nourishing such Hawaiian traditions as hula and music.
Tourism occasions observations of Welcome to Paradise, Now Die! on Magnum PI and options of Paradise Park as cultural center or public park near Manoa Trail.

Manoa Valley (from Hawaiian Mānoa, "deep, solid, thick, vast") allies its mauka (from Hawaiian mauka, "[landward toward the] inland") area at Manoa Falls with its makai (from Hawaiian makai, "seaward [toward the sea]") area at King Street in downtown Honolulu (from Hawaiian hono lulu, "bay shelter"). It amasses herbaceous, woody ambiences with its Aihualama and Manoa Falls Trails. It ambles through the University of Hawaii at Manoa. It anchors its trails within the 18-trail attraction of the Honolulu area of southwestern Oahu island. Judd, Kalawahine, Kanealole, Kolowalu, Makiki, Manoa Cliff, Maunalaha, Moleka, Nahuina, Nuuanu, Pauoa Flats, Puu Ohia, Puu Pia, Tantalus, Ualakaa and Waahila Trails angle 18.55 miles (26.55 kilometers) of appreciative jogging, running and walking through herbaceous, woody rainforest-associated plant life; Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, 11:40, image of Manoa Falls trail: Daniel Ramirez from Honolulu, USA, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons
The Paradise Park proprietor pondered a luau (from Hawaiian lu’au, “young taro tops [for cooking chicken or squid in coconut milk]”) and a Queen Kaahumanu plot.
Queen Kaahumanu (March 17, 1768-June 5, 1832) queued among garden-questing owner-operators who quartered quintessentially Hawaiian herbaceous and woody plants along ancient trails in Manoa Valley lands. The 1.6-mile- (2.6-kilometer-) long Manoa Trail respects ancient trails for bathing in 150-foot- (45.72-meter-) tall Manoa Falls, gathering plants for tree-sap laxatives, getting canoe-wood and hunting. Manoa Trail starts, east of Manoa Falls, at the hilltop parking lot for Paradise Park and, with its screaming banshees, scares slower joggers, runners and walkers.
Paradise Park turns up in Hawaii 5-O and Lost episodes, Catching Fire and Jurassic Park films and perhaps Magnum PI after Welcome to Paradise, Now Die!.

Theodore "T.C" Calvin (Stephen Hill) and Orville "Rick" Wright (Zachary Knighton) discover a necklace during their search for wandering mouse Roberto, while Thomas Sullivan Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Juliet "Higgy" Higgins (Perdta Weeks) consider cause-of-death for Hank the French bulldog in "Welcome to Paradise Now Die," season 5 episode 5 of NBC action drama television series Magnum P.I.: Magnum P.I. @magnumpi, via Twitter March 12, 2023
