Royal Birthright Absents Itself From a Family Birthright on Magnum PI

Summary: Royal birthright absents itself from a family Birthright, season 5 episode 7 Sunday, March 26, 2023, on action drama television series Magnum PI.

Hawaiian culture, legends, mythology, religion, spirituality and tradition accept all ancient Hawaiians as ancestored by Haloa II Moi (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”). Haloa acceded as first Hawaiian and first ruler of Hawaii (from Hawaiian ha wai 'i, "breath life-force supreme") as only-surviving son of Sky Father Wakea and Earth Moth Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide"); "U mitologiji, Wākea predstavlja slobodni nebeski prostor, a njegova supruga površinu Zemlje." In mythology, Wākea represents the free space of the sky and his wife the surface of the Earth; May 16, 2005, image of Prosopis pallida (Kiawe, keawe, algaroba, mesquite) habit, Kepuhi, western Molokai: Forest & Kim Starr, CC BY 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons

Royal birthright, which Hawaiian islands archive from their ali’i nui genealogies, absents itself from a family Birthright, season 5 episode 7 Sunday, March 26, 2023, on action drama television series Magnum PI.
Eighty-third episode overall director Doug Hannah and writers Andre Jackson and Eric Guggenheim bear a baby’s and two offspring’s family birthright to mother and maternal assets. NBC 2022-2023 television season’s 7th Magnum episode casts Verna Calvin (Judith Scott) with son Theodore (Stephen Hill) even as TC chides her for his motherless pre-adulthood. Siblings Brent (Jordan Belfi) and Kerry (Bethany Anne Lind) Urima’s birthright deals with their deceased mother’s dazzling necklace upon which their father, Gus (Lawrence Pressman), dotes.
Family birthright frequently emerges in the full, royal genealogies for Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Oahu Counties as the four mainest of the eight main Hawaiian islands.

Hawaiian culture, mythology, religion, spirituality and tradition acknowledge all ancient Hawaiians as ancestored by Sky Father Wakea and Earth Mother Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide"); image of Redfooted boobies and great frigatebirds, Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge, by Sarah Youngren, USFWS, "In the Hawaiian religion, Papahānaumoku is the mother of the islands and creator of life. Redfooted boobies and great frigatebirds Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge Photo: Sarah Youngren, USFWS[.] Pres. Teddy Roosevelt sent in the U.S. Marines to protect seabirds from plume and egg hunters in a vast swath of the Pacific, and in 1909 he gave them official wildlife conservation status as a wildlife refuge.": U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters (USFWS Headquarters), CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Flickr

Hawaii and Oahu Counties furnish the fullest genealogical gleanings because of Kamehameha I (from Hawaiian ka meha, “the lonely [one]”) fitting all islands into one kingdom.
Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Oahu (from Hawaiian ha wai ‘i, “breath life-force supreme”; Kaua’i, “favorite place around one’s neck”; mauī, “left-side”?; o’ahu, “gathering-place”) guard royal genealogies. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ FamilySearch hails as first successions of parents ancestoring the Hawaiian people Kupo (54 BC) and Lanikupo (54 BC). It identifies Nahaeikekua (32 BC) and Haniluna (32 BC), Keakenui I (15 BC-102) and Laheamanu, Kahianahinakii-Akea (12-190) and Luanahinaklipapa (12-195) and Koluanahinakii (34-130) and Hanahina (34-136).
Family histories journey through the jousting and the jubilatory junctions that genealogy joins into a family Birthright on Magnum PI joining a royal birthright on Kauai.

Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide") through the couple’s only surviving son Haloa II Moi’s (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”) children with wife Hinamanouluae perhaps advanced that association, as Kingdom of Hawaii (Ko Hawaiʻi Pae ʻĀina), of many islands under one monarch; illustration of "Entrevue de l'expedition de M. Kotzebue avec le roi Tammeamea dans l'ile d'Ovayhi, Iles Sandwich" in Louis Choris, Vues et paysages des regions equinoxiales (1827), Plate XVIII: Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ FamilySearch site keeps descending-bloodline Kauai genealogies from Koluanahinakii (34-130) and Hanahina (34-136) to Limanahinakii (56-147) and Onohinakii (56-148).
The FamilySearch site logs Hikiuanahina (81-168) and Waluanahina (78-176), Iwahinaki’iakea (109-192) and Lohanaki’ipapa (110-197), Wela-ahilaninui (138-228) and Owe (140-232) and Kahiko (144-254) and Kupulanakehao (38 BC). It mentions Sky Father Wakea (160-278) and, by wife Papahanaumoku, daughter Ho'ohokukalani (184-279), who made first, stillborn son Haloa Naka the first taro (kalo, Colocasia esculenta). Creating Hawaii, Kahoolawe and Maui, then Kauai, Kaula, Lehua and Niihau islands numbers among what Wakea’s (from Hawaiian wākea, “ancient”) relations with wife Papahanaumoku netted them.
Family birthright on Magnum PI and royal birthright from Wakea’s and Hoohokukalani’s son Haloa II Moi (180-274) respectively obtained a replacement-necklace and offered the first Hawaiian.

The ruling chiefs of Hawaii, of Kauai and Niihau, of Maui and Lanai, of Molokai and of Oahu always affirmed their island-specific bloodlines to their common Sky Father and Earth Mother ancestors. All nobles, as island-specific chief or as kingdom head, aired their chief-exclusive feathered cloaks (from Hawaiian 'ahu 'ula, "garment red") and helmets (from Hawaiian mahiole, "helmet") for battles and ceremonies; Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, 14:04, image of "Hawaiian aliʻi wore these featered cloaks and helmets. Haloa II Moi (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”) and wife Hinamanouluae (213-279) produced as children son Owaia (137-?) and daughter Huhune (225-?).
Siblings and spouses Owaia and Huhune queued as their only children son Hinanalo (183-?); daughter Haunuu (187-?), also daughter-in-law through intersibling marriage; and son Hinanalo (276-?). Alii nui (from Hawaiian ali’i nui, “noble grand, great, supreme”) reigned as respectively sovereign monarchs of Hawaii; Kauai and Niihau; Lanai and Maui; Molokai; and Oahu. They spread to separate islands within the Hawaiian archipelago even as their royal bloodlines suggest separate descents from Wakea through the latter’s only surviving son’s children.
Magnum PI ties family birthright to mother-child interactions and shared inheritances even as royal birthright ties Hawaii; Kauai and Niihau; Maui and Lanai; Molokai; and Oahu.

Romantically involved private detective team "Miggy," Thomas Sullivan Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Juliet Higgins (Perdita Weeks), solve a missing necklace and a suspicious break-in by examining and following clues in paperwork in "Birthright," season 5 episode 7 of NBC action drama television series Magnum P.I.: What2Vue @What2Vue, via Twitter March 22, 2023
