Carmen by French Romantic Era composer Georges Bizet (Oct. 25, 1838-June 3, 1875) airs Jan. 27 at 1:00 p.m. Milanese maestro Daniele Rustioni conducts the Saturday matinee of English director Carrie Cracknell's new production.
X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X by American composer and pianist Anthony Davis (born Feb. 20, 1951) broadcasts Feb. 3 at 1:00 p.m. as a replay of the season's Nov. 18 Saturday matinee performance. American maestro Kazem Abdullah conducts the Saturday matinee of American director and playwright Robert O'Hara's premiere production.
Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera plays Feb. 17 at 1:00 p.m. as a replay of one of the season's autumn performances. Milanese maestro Carlo Rizzi conducts the Saturday matinee revival of American stage director David Alden's 2012-2013 season production.

L'Elisir d'Amore by Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti (Nov. 29, 1797-April 8, 1848) airs April 6 at 1:00 p.m. with a throwback performance from Saturday, April 6, 1974. Max Rudolf conducted the historic performance.
