All Greenland bares the biggest brunt of how, what, when, where, why our Blue-Marble Earth booms and busts even as it bears our Earth's building blocks. Southwestern Greenland conserves in its ice sheets the lands configured with the early seas even as the internal-heat engine crushed them afore causing deformity, exposure, erosion. Our Earth's internal-heat engine draws together the afore-designated domains even as it does so afore driving them apart and delivering their debris to the world-dauntingest island.

The early sea exited a sea-floor piece from its ocean-ridge formation even as it ejected that 3.8-billion-year-old, world-oldest chunk,into a coastal-Greenland, isolated-cove rocky, small hill.

Northern Greenland's Arctic-Ocean edge-favored Sirius Passet features 538.800,000- to 486,850,000-year-old Cambrian-period fossils of embryonic cells forming into minerals- and oxygen-fed animals with specialized limbs and muscles.

Shallow, warm water guarded such animals even as benthic storms or hurricanes goaded mud- and silt-gagged animals into live burials in equator-area, hardened-mud rock, water-drained graves. Such severe waters and weathers heaved the sea floor upward even as that hoisting hosted huge lands heading elsewhere, albeit without harming their mud grave-housed fossils. Perhaps the third great reef, after the first, stromatolite, west-Australian reefs 3,500,000,000 years ago and the second, worldwide, archaeocyathid-sponge reefs 530,000,000 years ago, is beached Greenlandically.

Such reefs kept by Algeria, Greenland, Morocco, Unitedstatesian Great Lakes, western-Australian Windjana Gorge, west-Canadian Alberta kindled sea-lily meadows even as coral-keepsaking meadows kineticized pearly-nautilus nautiloid relatives.

Green-and-white, midocean-ridged Iceland lifted as sea-floor rock from volcanic lava locating above ocean waters even as steep-cliffed Thingvellir valley leans Europe-ward one direction, North America-ward another. An undersea, volcanic-rock sill making green-and-white Greenland, green-and-white Iceland connected mixes with North-Atlantic water the near-106,000,000-cubic-foot (3,000,000-cubic-meter), per-second movement of icy-, narrow-channeled, mi-Greenland, mi-Iceland Denmark-Strait Overflow. Denmark-Strait Overflow waterfall nurtures a sill-cascading, ocean-flowing undersea river even as the afore-noted waterfall, river and tributaries trio navigate, with endless-flowing currents, all Blue-Marble waters.

The afore-profiled, Denmark-Strait Overflow-, North Atlantic-provided deep water portions its oxygenated deep-watered and its sun-heated surface-watered current north-, Atlantic Ocean-ward and south-, Indian and Pacific Oceans-ward.

Greenhouse-gas carbon dioxide-emitting coal- and fossil fuel-burning quantified consumption increases by 70%, 1970-2004, even as 11 of 12 years, 1996-2008, quartered warmest-recorded temperatures, from 1850-1900 onward. Fifty-five-million years ago the North-Pole area of the Arctic Circle and of the Arctic Ocean registered water temperatures warmed to 73 degrees Fahrenheit (23 degrees Celsius). Air, land, water surveys suggest, by year 2100, temperatures high as 130,000 years ago when melting Greenland suffered 3- to 20-foot (4- to 6-meter) sea-level rises.
