Summary: Perhaps Aron of Kangeq artistically affects some Seasons by the Lake: Adventures in Greenland by author Naja Lund Aparico and illustrator Alex Nees.
"God talks to human beings through many vectors: through each other, through organized religion, through the great books of those religions, through wise people, through art and music and literature and poetry, but nowhere with such detail and grace and color and joy as through creation. When we destroy a species, when we destroy a special place, we're diminishing our capacity to sense the divine, understand who God is and what our own potential is." Robert Francis Kennedy Jr., April 19, 2023, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Back Bay, Boston, Massachusetts.
“And there’s many people out there who want us to move to the next planet already and I’m like, hang on, let’s not give up on this planet yet," William, Prince of Wales, July 31, 2023, Sorted Food food truck, London, England, United Kingdom.
Perhaps Aron of Kangeq artistically affects some Seasons by the Lake: Adventures in Greenland by author Naja Lund Aparico and illustrator Alex Nees, Dial Books, Penguin Random House imprint, Mar. 17, 2026.
The Inuk hunter, oral historian, painter, storyteller, watercolorist, woodcutter, Apr 9, 1821 to Mar. 12, 1869, based himself in south Greenland. He committed himself regularly to wild animal hunts until tuberculosis-compromised health changed his concentration to characterizing Inuit culture and history as settled Inuit clashing with settled Danes. In 1858, Danish administrator and geologist Hinrich, Aug. 26, 1819 to Dec. 15, 1893, decided upon deriving from Greenlander Inuits their drawings, maps and writings.
Such an endeavor enabled him to establish Greenlander biogeography, history and traditions even as it evoked his empathy for Aron, whose lifetime drawing materials supply he enscored.
The Danish administration perhaps thereby fostering a native figure whose art fingered what frustrated rather than furthered Danish sociopolitico economics in formidable Greenland perhaps fomented Aron longevity.

The publication Atuagagdliutit as early, Greenland colony, Rink newspaper guarded woodcuts that woodcutter Aron generated, with captions below, about everyday life, hunting groups, traditional stories. The Greenland colony's children's literature still honors such prototypes of graphic novels and picture book stories that oral and visual historian Aron honed. Count Eigil Knuth, Aug. 8, 1903 to Mar. 12, 1996, as Danish archaeologist, explorer, sculptor and writer institutionalized Aron artistry as of twentieth and twenty-first century interest.
Perhaps Aron of Kangeq artistically journeys through Seasons by the Lake: Adventures in Greenland by author Naja Lund Aparico and illustrator Alex Nees even as everyday life, huntable wildlife, traditional landscapes join.
The place name Kangeq keepsakes the Danish colonial name Habets even as its archaeology knows Paleo Eskimo Dorset peoples and Inuit Thule populations.

The island Kangeq logs the lasting lodgings of the first settlement by Norwegian Lutheran priest and missionary Hans Poulssen Egede, Jan. 31, 1686 to Nov. 5, 1758. It manifests on the fjord mouth of Nuup Kangerlua, Sermersooq municipality, southwest Greenland. Ninety-nine mile, 160 kilometer long, 4.3 mile, 7 kilometer wide Nuup Kangerlua niches the Danish colonial name Godthabsfjorden, also named Baal's River and Gilbert Sound.
Perhaps Aron of Kangeq, fjord island Danish occupied Jul. 3, 1721 to Aug. 29, 1728, occasions fjord occurrences artistically observed by illustrator Alex Nees, in Seasons by the Lake by author Naja Lund Aparico.
The island Kangeq persists as a place that preserves proto-Inuit, West Greenlandic Inuit and Danish colonial culture 11 miles, 18 kilometers, west southwest of capital city Nuuk.

Perhaps Aron of Kangeq quarreled with Danish colonialism even as Danish drama film Eksperimentet questioned Danish colonial Little Danes social experiment with 9 girl and 13 boy disadvantaged 6 to 8 year olds. The film released Aug. 28, 2010 by director writer Louise Friedberg, producers Signe Jensen, Birgitte Skov and distributor Sandrew Metronome Filmdistribution A/S regarded 22 orphans, 1950 to 1951. The Danish filmmakers selected the island Kangeq as seeming most like national capital Nuuk even as that site shelters what social critic Aron started.
Perhaps Aron of Kangeq and Dr Rink treasuring Greenlandic traditions in homeruled Greenland trended the Denmark largest colony into Greenland culture true Seasons by the Lake by Naja Lund Aparico and Alex Nees.

"No. 15 Tents in a sudden gale of wind" depicts the ever-present power of nature in Greenland. "No. 15. On pitching the tents much care is generally taken to secure them by means of stones, and to turn the entrance to the opposite side from which the heaviest gales of wind may be expected, but the present drawing shows that a squall may nevertheless sometimes carry the tents away, especially when on a journey they have only been intended for a short stay," explained Danish author, Arctic glaciologist, explorer and geologist Hinrich Johannes Rink (Aug. 26, 1819-Dec. 15, 1893) in Danish Greenland: Its People and Its Products (1877; page 279).
"No. 15 Tents in a sudden gale of wind" numbered as one of the last four illustrations created by Inuk hunter, oral historian, painter, storyteller, watercolorist and woodcutter Aron of Kangeq (April 9, 1821-March 12, 1869) for Dr. Rink (Aug. 26, 1819-Dec. 15, 1893).
"On sending his last pictures (Nos. 4, 8, 15, and 16, in January 1869) he complained of his increasing illness preventing him from doing any more, and ends thus: kasuvdlunga agdlagkáka kipiváka, kingorna kanok isanerpugut; i.e. 'from exhaustion I must cut short my letter, in the future how will our fate be like?' and shortly after he died" (Chapter XIV The Greenlanders Sketched by Themselves," pages 268-269).:
