Ailyn Pérez makes her first reprisal of Alice Ford in the 2022-2023 Met Opera season's second revival of Robert Carsen's 2013-2014 season-debuting new production of Verdi's Falstaff; she had added Alice Ford to her Met Opera portfolio in the production's first revival during the 2018-2019 season: AILYN PÉREZ @ailynperezsop, via Twitter March 7, 2023

Verdi's Falstaff is the April 1, 2023, Saturday matinee radio broadcast, airing at 12:30 p.m., Eastern Time, as the 14th of the 2022-2023 Met Opera season's lineup of 24 Saturday matinee opera broadcasts.
Nineteenth-century Italian opera composer Giuseppe Verdi (Oct. 10, 1813-Jan. 27, 1901) set his musical score for Falstaff to an Italian libretto by Italian composer and librettist Arrigo Boito (Feb. 24, 1842-June 10, 1918). Boito sourced his libretto from a comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and two historical plays, Henry IV Part 1 and Part 2, by Elizabethan playwright William Shakespeare (bapt. April 26, 1564-April 23, 1616).
Verdi's Falstaff premiered Thursday, Feb. 9, 1893, at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Lombardy, north central Italy. As Verdi's 26th and last opera, Falstaff numbered as the 10th and last La Scala premiere of a Verdi opera.
The United States premiere of Falstaff took place Monday, Feb. 4, 1895, at the first Metropolitan Opera House, located at 1411 Broadway in Midtown Manhattan's Garment District. Falstaff received 12 performances in the 1894-1895 Met Opera season.
The 2022-2023 Met Opera season stages Verdi's Falstaff as the second revival of the new production debuted by Robert Carsen (born 23 June 1954) in the 2013-2014 season. The production's first revival took place in the 2018-2019 season. The production's Canadian opera director had made his Met Opera debut Thursday, March 13, 1997, in the opera company's 104th performance of Eugene Onegin by Russian late Romantic era composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (May 7, 1840-Nov. 6, 1893).
The second revival of Carsen's Falstaff received six performances in the 2022-2023 season. The second revival opened with a Sunday matinee, March 12, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The second through fourth performances took place Thursday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m.; and Thursday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. The second revival's fifth performance is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, at 8:00 p.m. The second revival's sixth and last performance, slated for Saturday, April 1, at 12:30 p.m., airs as the 2022-2023 season's 14th Saturday matinee radio broadcast.
Daniele Rustioni conducts all six of the second revival's performances. The Italian conductor had made his Met Opera debut Thursday, March 23, 2017, in the opera company's 1,156th performance of Verdi's Aida.
Michael Volle sings the title role of an alcoholic seducer who, after humiliating comeuppances, good-naturedly and philosophically assesses life as jest-filled. The German baritone’s Metropolitan Opera debut happened April 3, 2014, as Mandryka in the opera house’s 53rd performance of Arabella by German late Romantic and early modern composer Richard Strauss (June 11, 1864-Sep. 8, 1949).
Ailyn Pérez sings Alice Ford, who successfully strategizes with Meg Page and Mistress Quickly to thwart Falstaff's amorous pursuits and to bring about her daughter Nannetta's marriage to Fenton. Ailyn Pérez's appearances in the 2022-2023 season's second revival of Carsen's production mark her first reprisal of the role that she added to her Met Opera portfolio during the 2018-2019 season's first revival of Carsen's Falstaff. The American operatic soprano had made her Metropolitan Opera debut Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, as Micaëla in the opera company’s 994th performance of Carmen by French Romantic Era composer Georges Bizet (Oct. 25, 1838-June 3, 1875).
Marie-Nicole Lemieux sings Mistress Quickly, who devises ploys that entrap Falstaff. Marie-Nicole Lemieux's appearances in the 2022-2023 season's second revival of Carsen's production mark her first reprisal of the role that she added to her Met Opera portfolio during the 2018-2019 season's first revival of Carsen's Falstaff. The Canadian coloratura contralto’s Metropolitan Opera debut happened Jan. 15, 2019, as Geneviève in the opera company’s 115th performance of Pelléas et Mélisande by French Impressionist composer Achille-Claude Debussy (Aug. 22, 1862-March 25, 1918).
Christopher Maltman sings Ford, who unknowingly weds his daughter, Nannetta, to her choice, Fenton, instead of his choice, wealthy Dr. Caius. The British operatic baritone’s Metropolitan Opera debut happened Sep. 24, 2005, as Harlekin in the opera company’s 79th performance of Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos.
Hera Hyesang Park sings Nannetta, whom her mother and her merry friends help to marry her choice, Fenton, instead of her father's choice, Dr. Caius. The South Korean lyric coloratura soprano had made her Met Opera debut Feb. 2, 2017, as the First Wood Sprite in the opera house's 28th performance of Rusalka by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák (Sep. 8, 1841-May 1, 1904).
Bogdan Volkov sings Fenton, whose marriage to Nannetta takes place via a ruse concocted by Nannetta's mother, Alice, and Alice's friends, Meg Page and Mistress Quickly. The Russian tenor had made his Met Opera debut Monday, April 23, 2018, as Tybalt in the opera company's 344th performance of Roméo et Juliette by French composer Charles-François Gounod (June 17, 1818-Oct. 18, 1893).
Jennifer Johnson Cano sings Meg Page, co-plotter with her merry friends in teaching lessons to Falstaff and bringing about the marriage of Nannetta Ford and Fenton. Jennifer Johnson Cano's appearances in the 2022-2023 season's second revival of Carsen's Falstaff mark her second reprisal of the role that she added to her Met Opera portfolio during the 2013-2014 season's debut of Carsen's new production of Falstaff. The American operatic mezzo-soprano had made her Met Opera debut Tuesday, Sep. 22, 2009, as a Peasant in the opera company’s 442nd performance of Le Nozze di Figaro by Classical Era composer Wolfgang Mozart (Jan. 27, 1756-Dec. 5, 1791).
Robert Carsen’s production team comprises Paul Steinberg, set designer; Brigitte Reiffenstuel, costume designer; and Robert Carsen and Peter Van Praet, lighting designers. American set designer Paul Steinberg had made his Met Opera debut Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in the opera company's 288th performance of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera. German costume designer Brigitte Reiffenstuel had made her Met Opera debut Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, in the opera company's 600th performance of Verdi's Il Trovatore. Belgian lighting designer Peter Van Praet had made his Met Opera debut Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in the debut of Robert Carsen's new Falstaff production, during the opera company's 176th performance of Falstaff.
The 2022-2023 Met Opera season's lineup of Saturday matinee broadcasts continues with the April 8, 2023, airing of Puccini's Tosca at 1:00 p.m. The matinee performance numbers as the 15th of the season's 24 Saturday matinee opera broadcasts.

Royal Birthright Absents Itself From a Family Birthright on Magnum PI

Summary: Royal birthright absents itself from a family Birthright, season 5 episode 7 Sunday, March 26, 2023, on action drama television series Magnum PI.

Hawaiian culture, legends, mythology, religion, spirituality and tradition accept all ancient Hawaiians as ancestored by Haloa II Moi (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”). Haloa acceded as first Hawaiian and first ruler of Hawaii (from Hawaiian ha wai 'i, "breath life-force supreme") as only-surviving son of Sky Father Wakea and Earth Moth Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide"); "U mitologiji, Wākea predstavlja slobodni nebeski prostor, a njegova supruga površinu Zemlje." In mythology, Wākea represents the free space of the sky and his wife the surface of the Earth; May 16, 2005, image of Prosopis pallida (Kiawe, keawe, algaroba, mesquite) habit, Kepuhi, western Molokai: Forest & Kim Starr, CC BY 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons

Royal birthright, which Hawaiian islands archive from their ali’i nui genealogies, absents itself from a family Birthright, season 5 episode 7 Sunday, March 26, 2023, on action drama television series Magnum PI.
Eighty-third episode overall director Doug Hannah and writers Andre Jackson and Eric Guggenheim bear a baby’s and two offspring’s family birthright to mother and maternal assets. NBC 2022-2023 television season’s 7th Magnum episode casts Verna Calvin (Judith Scott) with son Theodore (Stephen Hill) even as TC chides her for his motherless pre-adulthood. Siblings Brent (Jordan Belfi) and Kerry (Bethany Anne Lind) Urima’s birthright deals with their deceased mother’s dazzling necklace upon which their father, Gus (Lawrence Pressman), dotes.
Family birthright frequently emerges in the full, royal genealogies for Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Oahu Counties as the four mainest of the eight main Hawaiian islands.

Hawaiian culture, mythology, religion, spirituality and tradition acknowledge all ancient Hawaiians as ancestored by Sky Father Wakea and Earth Mother Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide"); image of Redfooted boobies and great frigatebirds, Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge, by Sarah Youngren, USFWS, "In the Hawaiian religion, Papahānaumoku is the mother of the islands and creator of life. Redfooted boobies and great frigatebirds Hawaiian Islands National Wildlife Refuge Photo: Sarah Youngren, USFWS[.] Pres. Teddy Roosevelt sent in the U.S. Marines to protect seabirds from plume and egg hunters in a vast swath of the Pacific, and in 1909 he gave them official wildlife conservation status as a wildlife refuge.": U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters (USFWS Headquarters), CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Flickr

Hawaii and Oahu Counties furnish the fullest genealogical gleanings because of Kamehameha I (from Hawaiian ka meha, “the lonely [one]”) fitting all islands into one kingdom.
Hawaii, Kauai, Maui and Oahu (from Hawaiian ha wai ‘i, “breath life-force supreme”; Kaua’i, “favorite place around one’s neck”; mauī, “left-side”?; o’ahu, “gathering-place”) guard royal genealogies. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ FamilySearch hails as first successions of parents ancestoring the Hawaiian people Kupo (54 BC) and Lanikupo (54 BC). It identifies Nahaeikekua (32 BC) and Haniluna (32 BC), Keakenui I (15 BC-102) and Laheamanu, Kahianahinakii-Akea (12-190) and Luanahinaklipapa (12-195) and Koluanahinakii (34-130) and Hanahina (34-136).
Family histories journey through the jousting and the jubilatory junctions that genealogy joins into a family Birthright on Magnum PI joining a royal birthright on Kauai.

Papahanaumoku (from Hawaiian wākea, "ancient"; and papa hānau moku ākea, "earth-mother birth small-island/large-land division wide") through the couple’s only surviving son Haloa II Moi’s (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”) children with wife Hinamanouluae perhaps advanced that association, as Kingdom of Hawaii (Ko Hawaiʻi Pae ʻĀina), of many islands under one monarch; illustration of "Entrevue de l'expedition de M. Kotzebue avec le roi Tammeamea dans l'ile d'Ovayhi, Iles Sandwich" in Louis Choris, Vues et paysages des regions equinoxiales (1827), Plate XVIII: Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ FamilySearch site keeps descending-bloodline Kauai genealogies from Koluanahinakii (34-130) and Hanahina (34-136) to Limanahinakii (56-147) and Onohinakii (56-148).
The FamilySearch site logs Hikiuanahina (81-168) and Waluanahina (78-176), Iwahinaki’iakea (109-192) and Lohanaki’ipapa (110-197), Wela-ahilaninui (138-228) and Owe (140-232) and Kahiko (144-254) and Kupulanakehao (38 BC). It mentions Sky Father Wakea (160-278) and, by wife Papahanaumoku, daughter Ho'ohokukalani (184-279), who made first, stillborn son Haloa Naka the first taro (kalo, Colocasia esculenta). Creating Hawaii, Kahoolawe and Maui, then Kauai, Kaula, Lehua and Niihau islands numbers among what Wakea’s (from Hawaiian wākea, “ancient”) relations with wife Papahanaumoku netted them.
Family birthright on Magnum PI and royal birthright from Wakea’s and Hoohokukalani’s son Haloa II Moi (180-274) respectively obtained a replacement-necklace and offered the first Hawaiian.

The ruling chiefs of Hawaii, of Kauai and Niihau, of Maui and Lanai, of Molokai and of Oahu always affirmed their island-specific bloodlines to their common Sky Father and Earth Mother ancestors. All nobles, as island-specific chief or as kingdom head, aired their chief-exclusive feathered cloaks (from Hawaiian 'ahu 'ula, "garment red") and helmets (from Hawaiian mahiole, "helmet") for battles and ceremonies; Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, 14:04, image of "Hawaiian aliʻi wore these featered cloaks and helmets. Hawaiian Chief's Feather Cloak ('ahu 'ula) and Helmet Bishop Museum Oahu, Hawaii. Haloa II Moi (from Hawaiian hāloa, “long breath”; and mōʻī, “king, monarch”) and wife Hinamanouluae (213-279) produced as children son Owaia (137-?) and daughter Huhune (225-?).
Siblings and spouses Owaia and Huhune queued as their only children son Hinanalo (183-?); daughter Haunuu (187-?), also daughter-in-law through intersibling marriage; and son Hinanalo (276-?). Alii nui (from Hawaiian ali’i nui, “noble grand, great, supreme”) reigned as respectively sovereign monarchs of Hawaii; Kauai and Niihau; Lanai and Maui; Molokai; and Oahu. They spread to separate islands within the Hawaiian archipelago even as their royal bloodlines suggest separate descents from Wakea through the latter’s only surviving son’s children.
Magnum PI ties family birthright to mother-child interactions and shared inheritances even as royal birthright ties Hawaii; Kauai and Niihau; Maui and Lanai; Molokai; and Oahu.

Romantically involved private detective team "Miggy," Thomas Sullivan Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Juliet Higgins (Perdita Weeks), solve a missing necklace and a suspicious break-in by examining and following clues in paperwork in "Birthright," season 5 episode 7 of NBC action drama television series Magnum P.I.: What2Vue @What2Vue, via Twitter March 22, 2023

Honolulu Zoo Sumatran Tigers Are Two Less by Nurture on NCIS: Hawai’i

Summary: Honolulu Zoo Sumatran Tigers are two less by Nurture, season 1 episode 19 Saturday, March 25, 2023, on police procedural television series NCIS: Hawai’i.

Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sumatrae) abide in Honolulu Zoo, Oahu island (from Hawaiian o'ahu, "gathering place"), Hawaii state (from Hawaiian ha wai 'i, "breath life-force supreme"). Honolulu Zoo abounded with Berani (Sep. 4, 1999-Aug. 14, 2017), Chrissie (June 24, 1999-Jan. 10, 2023), Djelita (March 26, 1991-April 17, 2016) and Seattle (June 3, 2007-Jan. 5, 2023) in the 20th and the 21st centuries. No Sumatran tiger now accompanies Anala (born Aug. 17, 2017), Malosi's (from Samoan malosi, "strength, strong") and Sohni's (from Sanskrit सोनि, "savana") daughter and Chrissie's granddaughter; Monday, Sep. 9, 2013, 10:11, image of "One of the baby Sumatran Tigers Cubs born at Chester Zoo," Upton-by-Chester, Cheshire, northwest England: Steve Wilson -- over 6 million views Thanks !! from Chester, UK, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons

Honolulu Zoo Sumatran Tigers are two less by Nurture, season 1 episode 19 debuted April 18, 2022, rerun Nov. 7, 2022, and March 25, 2023, on police procedural television series NCIS: Hawai’i.
The 19th episode overall, directed by Lin Oeding and written by Jan Nash, bemoans an exotic animal-bearing shipwreck in offshore Oahu (from Hawaiian o’ahu, “gathering place”). A Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) counts among the shipwreck casualties and as tiger subspecies member with Indochinese, Malayan, Siberian, South China and Sumatran tiger subspecies. The Honolulu Zoo, domiciled in Queen Kapiolani Park (rainbow, from Hawaiian ka pi’a lani, “the arch sky” via Hawaiian Kapi’olani), domiciles Sumatran tigers, not Bengal tigers.
Kidney disease entailed the Honolulu Zoo euthanizing Seattle (June 3, 2007-Jan. 5, 2023) and Chrissie (June 24, 1999-Jan. 10, 2023), respective 15- and 23-year-old Sumatran tigers.

The Indonesian island of Sumatra (from Sanskrit सुवर्णद्वीप, "golden island") accounts for the native range of Sumatran tigers. Sumatran tigers accrue the most numerous whiskers and the smallest sizes of all tigers (Panthera tigris). They accumulate in tropical deciduous and evergreen forests, grasslands, jungles, mangroves, wetlands and woodlands. They acquire carrion and deer, elephant, fish, gaur, monkey, pig and rhinoceros prey; Wednesday, Sep. 17, 2008, 10:00, image of "Range of Panthera tigris sumatrae, with national borders added": AtikuX, Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons

The Honolulu Zoo featured Chrissie, son Malosi’s (from Samoan malosi, “strength, strong”) daughter Anala (from Sanskrit अनल, “fire, wind”) and friend Seattle by Nov. 7, 2022.
The 42-acre (16.99-hectare, 0.07-square-mile, 0.17-square-kilometer) botanical- and zoological-garden zoo groups Sumatran tigers on irregular triangle-generated grounds that guard its alligator, Galapagos tortoise and gharial native-habitat grids. It still had at the second rerun date of Nurture on NCIS: Hawaii Saturday, March 25, 2023, 5-year-old Anala, born in central Florida Aug. 17, 2017. Annual mating inspires the Animalia kingdom, the Chordata phylum, the Mammalia class (from Latin animal; chorda, “cord”; mamma -ālis, “breast-related” via mammālis) member November through April.
Sumatran tigers, like those in Honolulu Zoo (from Hawaiian hono lulu, “bay sheltered”), like those never in Nurture on NCIS: Hawai’i, jubilate 1- to 7-cub litters.

Scientific classifications add Sumatran tigers to 9 tiger subspecies. Animal taxonomies address Bali, Caspian and Javan tigers as the three extinct subspecies. They admit Bengal, Indochinese, Malayan, Siberian, South China and Sumatran tigers as the six extant subspecies. Their 11.6- to 13.2-inch- (295- to 335-millimeter-) long skulls adorn the 87- to 100-inch- (2.2- to 2.55-meter-) long, 220- to 310-pound (100- to 140-kilogram) bodies of mature male Sumatran tigers. Their 10.4- to 11.5-inch (263- to 294-millimeter) skulls aestheticize the 85- to 91-inch- (2.15- to 2.3-meter-) long, 165- to 243-pound (75- to 110-kilogram) bodies of mature female Sumatran tigers; Thursday, March 10, 2011, image of skull of Javan tiger (Panthera tigris sondaica), collection of Museum Wiesbaden," Wiesbaden, Hesse state, central western Germany: Klaus Rassinger (Klausrassinger) und Gerhard Cammerer (Gerhardcammerer), Museum Wiesbaden, CC BY SA 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons

One-hundred-three-day gestations kindle blind, helpless cubs whom their fathers and mothers keep hidden 31 days, and kinetically dependent another 17 months, from human kidnappers and killers.
The Carnivora order, Feliformia suborder, Felidae family (from Latin carō vorus, “meat-devouring”; fēlis fōrma, “cat shape”; fēlis -idæ, “cat-like”) member logs 3- to 5-year-old physical maturities. Physically and sexually mature 3- to 4-year-old female and 4- to 5-year-old male Sumatran tigers manifest the maximum number of any whiskers of any tiger subspecies. They niche the darkest orange coats, the most numerous black stripes of any of the six extant and the extinct Bali, Caspian and Javan tiger subspecies.
Honolulu Zoo ordered Sumatran tigers Berani’s (Sep. 4, 1999-Aug. 14, 2017) and Djelita’s (March 26, 1991-April 17, 2016) old age-obliged euthanasia before NCIS: Hawai’i debuting Nurture April 18, 2022.

Year-round access, apart Christmas Day, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., agrees with Honolulu Zoo. Honolulu Zoo aligns its 42 acres (16.99 hectares, 0.07 square miles, 0.17 square kilometers) mountainward (from Hawaiian mauka, "[toward the] mountain [inland side]") at Diamond Head slopes and seaward (from Hawaiian makai, "[toward the] sea [coast]") at the Waikiki (from Hawaiian wai kīkī, "freshwater shooting-water") corner of Kapahulu (from Hawaiian ka pahulu, "the worn-out soil") and Kalakaua (from Hawaiian ka la kaua, "the day [of] battle") Avenues; Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, 16:01, image of Honolulu Zoo, 151 Kapahulu Avenue (corner Kapahulu and Kalakaua avenues), Honolulu, Kapahulu neighborhood, O'ahu south shore: Robert Linsdell from St. Andrews, Canada, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons

Pantherinae (from Greek πάνθηρ, “panther”; and Latin -īnae, “-ine”) subfamily-member males present 87- to 100-inch- (2.2- to 2.55-meter-) long, 220- to 310-pound (100- to 140-kilogram) bodies.
Coenraad Temminck- (March 31, 1778-Jan. 30, 1858) and Reginald Pocock- (March 4, 1863-Aug. 9, 1947) taxonomized males queue 11.6- to 13.2-inch- (295- to 335-millimeter) long skulls. Female Sumatran tigers reveal 85- to 91-inch- (2.15- to 2.3-meter-) long, 165- to 243-pound (75- to 110-kilogram) bodies with 10.4- to 11.5-inch (263- to 294-millimeter) skulls. Sumatran tigers survive in tropical deciduous and evergreen forests, grasslands, jungles, mangroves, wetlands and woodlands sheltering carrion, deer, elephant, fish, gaur, monkey, pig and rhinoceros prey.
Nurture on NCIS: Hawai’i tenders Bengal tigers vulnerable as Sumatran tigers tethered to less than 4- to 400-square-mile (10- to 1,000-square-kilometer) natural-habitat territories at Honolulu Zoo.

Hawaiian "lion king" Darren Schwartz (Bronson Pinchot), expecting a prison sentence, asks Special Agent Kai Holman (Alex Tarrant) to take care of Pepper, who feels comfortable in NCIS cyber intelligence specialist Ernie Malik's (Jason Antoon) office in "Nurture," season 1 episode 19 of American police procedural television series NCIS: Hawai'i; "Nurture," which first aired Monday, April 18, 2022, reruns Saturday, March 25, 2023: Vanessa Lachey @VanessaLachey, via Twitter April 18, 2022

Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sumatrae) abide in Honolulu Zoo, Oahu island (from Hawaiian o'ahu, "gathering place"), Hawaii state (from Hawaiian ha wai 'i, "breath life-force supreme"). Honolulu Zoo abounded with Berani (Sep. 4, 1999-Aug. 14, 2017), Chrissie (June 24, 1999-Jan. 10, 2023), Djelita (March 26, 1991-April 17, 2016) and Seattle (June 3, 2007-Jan. 5, 2023) in the 20th and the 21st centuries. No Sumatran tiger now accompanies Anala (born Aug. 17, 2017), Malosi's (from Samoan malosi, "strength, strong") and Sohni's (from Sanskrit सोनि, "savana") daughter and Chrissie's granddaughter; Monday, Sep. 9, 2013, 10:11, image of "One of the baby Sumatran Tigers Cubs born at Chester Zoo," Upton-by-Chester, Cheshire, northwest England: Steve Wilson -- over 6 million views Thanks !! from Chester, UK, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons @ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Beautiful_Sumatran_Tiger_Cub_(9711349588).jpg; Steve Wilson -- over 10 million views Thanks !!, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Flickr @ https://www.flickr.com/photos/pokerbrit/9711349588/
17, 2008, 10:00, image of "Range of Panthera tigris sumatrae, with national borders added": AtikuX, Public Domain, via Wikimedia Commons @ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Panthera_tigris_sumatrae_distribution_map.png
Their 10.4- to 11.5-inch (263- to 294-millimeter) skulls aestheticize the 85- to 91-inch- (2.15- to 2.3-meter-) long, 165- to 243-pound (75- to 110-kilogram) bodies of mature female Sumatran tigers; Thursday, March 10, 2011, image of skull of Javan tiger (Panthera tigris sondaica), collection of Museum Wiesbaden," Wiesbaden, Hesse state, central western Germany: Klaus Rassinger (Klausrassinger) und Gerhard Cammerer (Gerhardcammerer), Museum Wiesbaden, CC BY SA 3.0 Unported, via Wikimedia Commons @ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Panthera_tigris_sondaica_02_MWNH_106d.jpg
Andrews, Canada, CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Wikimedia Commons @ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Honolulu_Zoo,_Kapahulu_Ave,_Honolulu_(503268)_(17068998877).jpg; Robert Linsdell (Bob Linsdell), CC BY 2.0 Generic, via Flickr @ https://www.flickr.com/photos/boblinsdell/17068998877/

They open mostly at the extremities of slender calcareous processes. The only specimen seen by the author, was procured at the Sandwich Islands; but it may have been brought by shipping from some other locality. It is five inches high and eight broad, with the stem at base half an inch thick. The crust still remains dried on the axis and the right rays of the closed polyps may be easily distinguished."
