Sarajevo-born luthier Zoran Kuvač builds classical guitars in his workshop in Banja Luka (Serbian Cyrillic: Бања Лукаc), northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zoran Kuvač ("clear/evident/handsome/obvious/powerful/strong blacksmith"; Serbo-Croatian зо́ран ко̀ва̄ч) bides in Bosnia-Herzegovina (Босна и Херцеговина; "the-running-water"; Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian Bosna/Босна; Illyrian Bass-an-as(-ā)]; "and" i/и; "duke's[-land]"; hèrceg/хѐрцег -ov/-ов -ina/-ина; German herizogo). Classical guitars by Zoran Kuvač never jeopardize such endangered trees as Bosnian spruces even as Bosnian-maple, Bosnian-spruce musical journeys justify judicious junctions of classical-guitar on-a-dime starts and stops, showmanship, sound, structure, sustainability.

Drina-River Bosnian spruces (Picea omorika), Vrbas-River crack and white willows (Salix alba, Salix fragilis), unlike Balkan/Bosnian/sycamore maples ("mountain maple"; gorski javor/горски јавор Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian), keep Bosnia-Herzegovina thin-forested.

Bosnian maples genus-species-subspecied Acer opalus subsp obtusatum and Balkan, Bosnian, mountain, sycamore maples genus-specied Acer pseudoplatanus log, among least-concern lodgings, the Dinaric Alps ("Illyrian-tribe-]Dindarī;" Dindari/Диндари Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian). The Bosnian-maple subspecies perhaps matters to the classical guitar-making master for maintaining tool handles and turned objects even as sycamore maples muster magnificent-looking, matchless-sounding musical instruments. Zoran Kuvač notes everything granular, structural, textural about Bosnian maples and Bosnian spruces even as, apart guitar tuners, he negotiates manually all pattern niches and nooks.

His workshop respects the domed, large-bodied classical guitars that de Torres released with fan-strutted soundboards and with restrained decorations even as he reveres French guitar-realizing traditions. French-classical guitar-making Daniel Friederich's (Sun., Jan. 16, 1831-Wed., Nov. 4, 2020) carved headstocks; central, raised designs; purfled top-, back-plated outer-edge inlay strips; special-designed machine heads survive.

Classical guitars by Zoran Kuvač traumatize no Bosnian maples and Bosnian spruces even as they transmit the back-, the side-bracing system of French-classical guitar-making Dominique Field (born Jul 30, 1954, Boulogne-Billancourt, France).
