Indra's net antedates Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures in India and anticipates Chan Buddhism and Interbeing aspects at Phuong Boi meditation library and retreat of founder Thich Nhat Hanh in Vietnam.
Indra, storm-god child of the earthly cow Prithivi and the heavenly bull Dyaus, built our world with four corner-posts, four walls, two doors and one roof. He constructed one door each for conducting the sun daily in and out and one thatched roof from overcast skies and contained everything with Indra's net. Indra's net of Interbeing displays an infinite number of facets on each of an infinite number of jewels at each of an infinite number of connections.
Each connection, facet and jewel experiences and exhibits whatever that and every other connection, facet and jewel effectuates, elaborates, elicits, encounters, endures and expresses and vice-versa.
Indra, atmospheric regulator and eastern guardian, features in Vedic hymns by 800 BCE about the Iranian gods of Aryan invaders of northwestern India in 1700 BCE.
Indra's net generates Interbeing, according to Thich Nhat Hanh, founder of Plum Village Tradition Buddhist mindfulness practice and training centers in America, Asia, Australia and Europe. Thich Nhat Hanh hones Interbeing from descriptions that "In Indra's net, the one is present in the all, and the all is present in the one." The 3,000- to 3,200-year-old Atharvaveda (from Sanskrit अथर्ववेद, "priestly knowledge") and 1,700- to 2,000-year-old Mahavaipulya Buddhavatamsaka Sutra (from Sanskrit महावैपुल्यबुद्धावतंसकसूत्र, "Flower Garland Scripture") invoke Indra's net.
Indra's net juggles Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures in Maharashtra state and Phuong Boi in Lam Dong province because of vedas, sutras and Chan Buddhism.
Vedic hymns such as the Atharvaveda kindle the recorded Hindu mythologies that kept pre-Hindu gods such as Indra in 1,300- to 2,300-year-old Ajanta cave wall paintings.
Mahavaipulya Buddhavatamsaka verses launched sixth- through 14th-century Chan (from Chinese 禪, "meditation") and seventh- through 10th-century Huayan (from Chinese 華嚴, "flower garland") Buddhism. Thich Nhat Hanh in 1956 made land purchased from hill tribespeople into Phuong Boi ("Fragrant Palm Leaves") center of Zen Buddhism, Japanese makeover of Chan Buddhism. He named it for the talipot (Corypha umbraculifera) leaves that netted the earliest teachings of Gautama Buddha (from Sanskrit गोतम, "brightness [dispels] darkness" and बुद्ध, "awakened").
Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures observe Siddhartha (from Sanskrit सिद्धार्थ, "successful") Gautama (624?-544 BCE), predecessor to ajita Maitreya (from Sanskrit सिद्धार्थ, "invincible" and मैत्रेय, "benevolent").
Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures preserve interactive, interconnected Interbeing with Buddhist, Hindu, Vedic actualities and mythologies and, previously, Ajanta subkings, Asmaka kings and Vakataka emperors.
Phuong Boi quested interactive, interconnected Interbeing within wood-plank cabins with corrugated-iron roofs amid bamboo, elephant grass, frangipani bushes, ginger, hibiscus, pine forests, tea groves and tigers. Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures, as United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World Heritage Centre site, reveals interactive, interconnected Interbeing within tourism-reduced teak forests. Phuong Boi sustains interactive, interconnected Interbeing with brown-robed, 42-year-old ordained monk Mr. Yên ("peace") and his brown-robed monks and gray-robed novices in a still-standing lodge.
Indra's net transmits interactive, interconnected Interbeing at Phuong Boi of founder Thich Nhat Hanh to Ajanta cave wall paintings and sculptures and Chan Buddhism and vice-versa.
