Black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats are more important in western Costa Rica than resort hotels and wind farms in the Elementary procedural drama series episode Tag, You're Me Nov. 19, 2015.
Director Christine Moore and writers Robert Doherty and Bob Goodman bring the beleaguered Costa Rican and Panamanian endemic into Season 4's third episode, 75th episode overall. Donya Esfandiari (Shohreh Aghdashloo), "[o]ne of the richest hoteliers in the world," considers a global energy firm's projected wind farm catastrophic for her resort hotel project. She dreads environmental studies done other than dishonestly like hers since developing her and Morland Holmes's (John Noble) designs degrades black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats.
Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) encourages Esfandiari and his father's exporting "light to lands that were in dark," not establishing "darkness where once there was light," elsewhere.

Sherlock focuses Esfandiari and his father toward following, not flauting, government and international conventions that find, and furnish protection for, black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats.
Costa Rica's Corcovado, Golfito and Piedras Blancas National Parks and Golfo Dulce, Los Santos and Sierpe Térraba Forest Reserves gather black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats. Donald Peter Hayes, Finca Barú del Pacífico, Forestal Golfito SA, Hacienda Copano, Pancho La Merced, Portalón, Preciosa Platanares and RHR Bancas National Wildlife Refuges have them. Black-capped squirrel monkeys inhabit Conte Burica, Osa and Térraba Anthropological Reserves; Lacustrino Pejeperrito and Pejeperro Protection Zones; and Punta Río Claro and Transilvania National Wildlife Refuges.
Panama's Cerre Cerrezuela-Río Grande, Estero Golfo de Montijo Recreation Area, Golfo de Chiriquí National Park and El Chorogo-Palo Blanco Wildife Refuge juggle black-capped squirrel monkey habitats.

The 1,544.41-square-mile (4,000-square-kilometer) black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats keep evergreen primary, floodplain, humid lowland, lowland scrub, mangrove, mature upland, river-edge, seasonally inundated and secondary-growth forests.
Black-capped Central American squirrel monkeys launch just under 6.56-foot (2-meter), squirrel-like leaps between tree branches 15 to 30 feet (4.57 to 9.14 meters) above forest floors. Squirreliness motivated Johannes Theodor Reinhardt's (Dec. 3, 1816-Oct. 23, 1882) name Saimiri oerstedii oerstedii (Anders Sandøe Ørsted's [Dec. 21, 1778-May 1, 1860], small monkey) in 1872. They net mono tití ("capuchin [family-like] monkey") bark, bats, birds, caterpillars, flowers, fruits under 0.39-inch (1-centimeter) diameters, grasshoppers, gums, leaves, lizards, nectars, spiders and tree frogs.
Black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats offer the Cebidae capuchin, marmoset, squirrel monkey and tamarin family member omnivorous opportunities to 1,640.42-foot (500-meter) altitudes above sea level.

Black-hooded, orange-red-bodied, yellow-limbed black-capped Central American squirrel monkeys present mature 10.47- to 11.46-inch (26.6- to 29.1-centimeter) head-body and 14.25- to 15.32-inch (36.2- to 38.9-centimeter) tail lengths.
A 21.16- to 33.51-ounce (600- to 950-gram) range quantifies adult weights, with mature females and males respectively queuing up 24.52-ounce (695-gram) and 29.24-ounce (829-gram) average weights. Physically and sexually mature 12- to 14-month-old females and four- to six-year-old males reside in 20- to 100-member, mixed-age, mixed-gender, respectively non-birth and birth territorial groups. Clearings for African oil palm and rice plantations, logging and ranching sabotage August-October mating and February-April birthing seasons and sever black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats.
Esfandiari and Holmes team up for black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitats whose alarm-peeping, chucking, twittering, whistling namesakes travel cooperatively with monkeys, songbirds, squirrels and themselves.

Endangered black-capped Central American squirrel monkey habitat emerges as critical factor against resort and wind farm development on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast in Elementary tv series' Tag, You're Me (season 4 episode 3) substory of Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and his father Morland (John Noble): StarWatchByline ‏@SWByline via Twitter Nov. 5, 2015
