Jonathan Sheikh-Miller, Monica Tamariz Avail Tiburones Greenland Shark

Summary: English-language author Jonathan Sheikh-Miller and English-Spanish language translator Monica Tamariz avail the Sharks book Tiburones a Greenland shark.

"God talks to human beings through many vectors: through each other, through organized religion, through the great books of those religions, through wise people, through art and music and literature and poetry, but nowhere with such detail and grace and color and joy as through creation. When we destroy a species, when we destroy a special place, we're diminishing our capacity to sense the divine, understand who God is and what our own potential is." Robert Francis Kennedy Jr., April 19, 2023, Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Back Bay, Boston, Massachusetts.

“And there’s many people out there who want us to move to the next planet already and I’m like, hang on, let’s not give up on this planet yet," William, Prince of Wales, July 31, 2023, Sorted Food food truck, London, England, United Kingdom.

Eric Wesley Ste-Marie, Arctic marine biologist at Hussey Lab (Movement and Trophic Ecology Laboratory), marine ecologist, Greenland shark specialist and doctoral student at southwestern Ontario's University of Windsor in Central Canada, made the new scientific discovery of an Anelasma squalicola, a type of goose barnacle, embedded parasitically in the cloaca (Latin: underground drain, sewer; multi-purpose rear opening for digestive, excretory and reproductive systems of Elasmobranchii, subset of jawed fish Chondrichthyes class including sharks) of a female Greenland shark while on an expedition Aug. 14, 2018, for electronic tagging and metabolic rate research of the species (Caleb White, "Worm-Like Parasite Barnacles Retrieved From Female Greenland Shark's Cloaca," The Science Times, May 4, 2023, @ https://www.sciencetimes.com/articles/43583/20230504/worm-parasite-barnacles-retrieved-female-greenland-sharks-cloaca.htm): Sharks4Kids, via Facebook May 28, 2023

English-language author Jonathan Sheikh-Miller and English-Spanish language translator Monica Tamariz avail the Sharks book Tiburones a Greenland shark as one species amid 400 species, for Usborne Publishing Ltd. English-language 2000, Spanish-language 2001.
Author Sheikh-Miller builds his book around the bare basics by which big fishes bear behaviorally, biogeographically and biologically what bares them as belonging to shark species. He considers the Greenland shark on page 59 of pages 58-59 concerning shark species whose characteristics, choices, comportment, conditions contribute to such correlations as word-coldest corner-claiming. He describes the Greenland shark as dwelling in the glacial waters of the Arctic north even as he defers to another species such descriptors as longest-lived.
Author Sheikh-Miller elucidates spiny-dogfish life expectancies at 70 to 100 years even as the below-enclosed bibliography estimates Greenland sharks as experiencing 100- to 400-plus-year life expectancies.
